Natural products and traditional knowledge form the core foundation of pharmacognosy and modern drug extraction. KMIPS maintains an expansive Botanical Medicinal Garden within the campus grounds.
Our botanical garden features over 100 authenticated species of herbal and medicinal plants. It serves as an open-air laboratory where students learn practical plant taxonomy, active phytoconstituent extraction, harvesting techniques, and cultivation methods.
The institute museum houses botanical and zoological drug specimens, crystal forms, authentic crude drugs (roots, barks, leaves, resins), anatomy models, and vintage pharmacy formulation devices for pedagogical reference.
Operated and maintained under the supervision of the Department of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry.
