KMIPS located in Chhend Colony, Rourkela, Odisha, is recognized by OUHS, Odisha. This esteemed institution provides education and training in the field of Pharmacy. The institute offers various programs including Post Graduate: M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology, Under Graduate: B.Pharm, and Diploma: D.Pharm levels. Since its inception in 1982, the institution has consistently addressed the needs of the community in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has established a distinguished reputation among its peers through its performance and outcomes. It is accredited by the PCI, AICTE, OUHS, OSBP, BPUT and the Government of Odisha. KMIPS boasts 40 years of academic excellence in the field of Pharmacy. Currently, the institute is affiliated with the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) in New Delhi, holding Institutional ISTE Membership No. IM 2922 for various Short-Term Training Programmes (STTPS).

The primary aim of the organization is to foster scientific awareness and promote sustainable development in pharmacy for the benefit of humanity. The focus is on inspiring young minds to innovate and engage in research. The faculty members possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and expertise, ensuring that students achieve the highest levels of success. The institute features modern infrastructure, including several classrooms, tutorial rooms, a conference hall, an administration office, a medicinal garden, and well-equipped laboratories, all constructed in compliance with the standards set by OUHS, BPUT, AICTE, and PCI, New Delhi. Additionally, it has a well-established Digital Library stocked with sufficient books and journals that meet AICTE and PCI standards. KMIPS is equipped with IT infrastructure comprising over 70 computers, 40 Mbps (1:1) internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi facilities. We offer dedicated Girls Hostels equipped with lift facilities, accommodating over 100 students, along with an in-house Canteen and Faculty Quarters located on campus.

The institute also provides its own transportation services and well-equipped, air-conditioned virtual classrooms for students. KMIPS will offer lodging and boarding facilities on campus.
